I’m glad DC Comics finally figured out how to make this cover to The Invisibles (R) even sexier.

I had to have a go at drawing the Catwoman from this incredible DC cover

I recognise that this subject has been covered by the likes of Kate Beaton, John Allison and more. But I’ve been at work and I’ve wanted to have a go all day.

Kate Beaton has some fun with Guillem March’s new Catwoman cover.

BLACK MANTA
If you look at aquatic super-heroes, the good guys are usually some sort of aquatic royalty, from a magical undersea kingdom. Or, sometimes they’re “as one” with the creatures of the ocean and can communicate with them like loyal subjects. It’s kind of BS, right? In real life, the ocean is a pretty fierce, Darwinian sort of place. Sink or swim. Kill, or be killed by something with bigger teeth. So, it stands to reason that an aquatic villain would see things in that light and be ready to burst that sentimental bubble.

New neighbors.
