Two new paintings by Chris Buzelli.  The butterfly is inspired by the Queen Alexandra’s birdwing (which can grow to be a foot across), and the bear girl is the illustration for a dark fairy tale by Helen Marshall that’ll be familiar to readers of Neil Gaiman’s American Gods.

‘Tis done!!!

This piece was done for one of my classes where we had to mash-up two different styles. I chose to mash-up Bioshock and Steamboat Willie.  I did a lot of research into different postures that characters had, along with researching what characters could be combined. Super fun project and I’m very proud of the finished product =D
